    Cathedral Town

    Cathedral Town

Cathedral Town is a rahter average and boring Island in the Noth Blue. With it's southern location, it's the southernmost Island in this Blue before the Calm Belt. Going just with the climate of the Blue, temperatures on this island are considered mild and the weather is too. But often enough, wind and sea currents bring frost from the more nothern Regions of the Blue down to Cathedral Town.
As it's name implies, the whole island is one town, pretty much. Also implied is it's most noteable feature: a Cathedral towering over the rest of the city, just like Marine Bases normally do. It belongs to a local religious fraction and was in fact the origin of the whole town, being built first and the town gathered around it.
Nowadays not only civil buildings have been erected on the island however. A small Marine Base keeps the generaly rather small island quiet and it's citizens safe. Said citizens are generally peaceful and always busy, as their main income is exporting many things like crafted goods, as well as sales to visitors. Surprisingly, not all that many of the eslands people are followers of the religion that once founded the city - some just don't bother witch religion while others simply don't want to pay both marine taxes as well as the church tax.

    News:

    - none -

    Citizens:

    Highpriest Zhed
He is the current mental leader of the religious organisation in Cathedral Town. Even though it is unfounded, he views himself as the mayor or even king of the island - much to the contrary of his church's constant struggle for followers. The Marine is also in permanent conflict with him because of this self-proclaimed regime.
